Hello from Seattle! We have had the best time in Seattle, I have lots of photos to share from our days in the city, the space needle and puget sound. Today, however, we are headed here:
Lake Diablo
D&C hooked us up with camping supplies and we're headed to the Cascade Mountains to enjoy some hiking and camping.

Does the water always look so green? What a beautiful place!

The water really is that blue! The water comes from glaciers; and it is blue-green because of an overtone of a oxygen-hydrogen (O-H) bond stretch in water which absorbs light at the red end of the visible spectrum.
